What the heck happened today?
Today has been one of the longest days ever. We had Gavin’s IVIG Infusion this morning and aside from a bit or drama on Gavin’s part, he did really well.

I have of course, said my share of prayers today but there’s a weird feeling of comfort that comes along with crossing ones fingers.
We are going to really need your thoughts and prayers today
Read about a few of the things we survived in 2013 and lived to tell about.
“Here’s the thing about being positive. Everyone always wants you to be positive but the truth is, sometimes it’s just not possible. Sometimes things are so bad or so overwhelming that no amount of positive thinking or even fairy dust, will make things anymore bearable.”
This is scary for a million reasons I know of and even more that I don’t. It’s just one more thing that we have to contend with and try and figure out. Thankfully, the weight-loss isn’t more rapid than about 4 lbs per month, so we have time to figure this out.
Everything could be fine or it could be really bad. Hes basically been sick for the last 30 days. This is the first time he’s been sick since starting the IVIG Infusions 2 or 3 years ago. While everything may be okay and he’s just sick again, we have absolutely no experience with this.
At this point, I’m begging the powers that be for mercy. We need a break, even a small one will suffice.
