Survival mode happens when your brain and body stay stuck in a constant state of alert. It’s what happens after years of stress, uncertainty, and caregiving where rest never feels safe. I’d love to get a better idea of who all is here so I can better support everyone. If you’re a parent raising a kid with autism or any other disability, please listen up. I know how hard life is or how hard life can be. I know with everything going on it makes it even harder and scarier and more overwhelming.
