When my son was first diagnosed, I left the doctor’s office with a pamphlet and two phone numbers. No guidance. No support. Just isolation. Survival mode happens when your brain and body stay stuck in a constant state of alert. It’s what happens after years of stress, uncertainty, and caregiving where rest never feels safe. I’d love to get a better idea of who all is here so I can better support everyone.
