It’s was a meltdown filled afternoon and I did what I had to do as a result

It's been one of those classic #Autism Parenting days where I'm completely exhausted

Gavin / Meltdowns / My thoughts

Wow.. Gavin just had a pretty major meltdown

When I questioned Gavin, he started to freak out. He began contorting his body and hitting himself in the head. I wasn't angry with him, just surprised by what he had done

#replay of Live broadcast from 10/26/2025. Is there a really important cause within the autism and even disability community as a whole that is timely and impactful to a great many people? Okay, so this isn’t something I usually do, but there’s a video going around right now that really bothered me. I’m not going to play it because I don’t want to spread her hateful message, but in it, she mocks people who are about to lose their SNAP benefits on November 1st. She talks like they’re just irresponsible, that they should “get a job,” or that they should’ve saved their benefits from last month, as if it’s that easy. It’s disgusting.
