A down and dirty update

1 Comment on A down and dirty update

It’s been a weird day and painful day. It was weird because of some of the things going on and painful because my back hurts like a motherfucker. I have to thank my amazing wife for stepping up and getting the kids to school this morning because I wasn’t in a condition to drive.

I’m moving around a little better as the day goes on but I feel like I’m being ripped in half and that’s not an exaggeration.

Anyway, Gavin is on his way to his grandparents house, where he’s going to spend the night. He’s super excited and has been looking forward to this all week. The timing is perfect because I have to drive Lizze to the Cleveland Clinic in the morning and we won’t be home in time to pick the boys up from school.

Gavin and his grandparents will take care of that for us. That’s a huge help and we appreciate it.. ☺

I just wanted to drop a quick update as I’m working on something in regards to what happened to Emmett at school yesterday..

Take a second and answer the poll

Does your child with Autism miss a lot of school?

You say you’ve had this exact kind of back pain before. Seems like some short term pain relief would be helpful? I know that constant, unremitting pain is very wearing. The more painful it is, the worse I know I respond. Sometimes I may be ignoring a migraine, for example, and then end up biting someone’s head off (verbally of course).

Anyway, hope you feel better soon.
