How many of you understand what it’s like to be in survival mode?

It's called self-preservation and this is a very human reaction to extreme levels of stress.

Autism, Anxiety and ADHD are killing me today

It's been a pretty exhausting morning already. Elliott and Emmett are all over the place and even on their meds, their level of impulsivity is simply incredible.

Seriously!!! Have you seen the milk? I have a theory….

Everything was going smoothly and I should have known something was wrong.  The boys did pretty good at the store, considering how the rest of their day was going and I should have known something was wrong then as well.

I think I jinxed myself and paid a heavy price for it today

I was really hoping that things were going to go easier for both them and I but while last night went fine, all day today was a nightmare. When I say nightmare, I mean NIGHTMARE.

I was NOT expecting to find this when I check on my kids before going to bed

🌟 A message to all the parents of children with disabilities: you are seen, you are heard, and you are valued 🤗. It's okay to not be okay, and it's okay to take care of yourself 🛋️. Remember, you are doing the best you can 💪, and your kids are lucky to have you 🙏. I get asked all the time if AirTags can be used to track autistic kids who wander or are GPS trackers like AngelSense better? Someone please help me understand why people are so upset over Mattel introducing an Autistic Barbie? I feel like we ask and push for inclusion and diversity but when we get it, even in a kids toy, people get upset.
