For today’s IVIG infusion, Gavin and I discussed trying to use his belly again for the infusion site because it’s far less painful.

We had switched to his thighs because of issues with scar tissue in his belly area.

After a month of using his thighs, we decided to try his belly once again because infusing into his thighs has been very painful,  both during and for days following the infusion.

The infusion was a huge success today.

It took a little under 2 hours to complete and aside from the needle sticks, it was a pain free experience.  ☺

Gavin’s thrilled about this and I’m happy to see him not be in pain.
