Special Needs Parenting Leaves One Utterly Exhausted

The boys are are in rare form this morning.  90% of time since Emmett’s been awake, he’s been freaking out.  Elliott’s been bouncing everywhere and Gavin is talking incessantly.

I’m feeling pretty good this morning but everyone is really testing my patience and patience to extreme levels that are required to be a special needs parent leaves one utterly exhausted.

It’s no wonder that raising a special needs child is considered a full time job, all by itself.

With three special needs kids, it’s like having three full time jobs that provide no vacation time or lunch break ever and your boss always makes you work the weekends.
