It’s been a pretty great day so far, despite having gotten off to the best start. I’ll start off with the good news first before moving on to the even better news.

After dropping the boys off at school, I ended up crashing on the couch while Gavin watched Tom and Jerry.  He’s been totally into the really old cartoons lately for some reason.

I slept for about 2 hours and it really helped me to feel better. 

It’s been a really difficult couple of days for me personally and I am both physically and emotionally at my breaking point.  I really needed this nap to help get me back on my feet.  It doesn’t fix anything longterm but it helps me pick myself up and keep moving. 

The even better news is that Gavin is doing infinitely better today.  He’s still stuffy but no fever, cough or difficulty breathing. 

It’s amazing how different he’s doing today as apposed to this same time yesterday..  Of course, as I’m writing this, I just heard him cough but he’s still way better than yesterday… ☺
