It feels like a pretty successful morning

I was so tired this morning but now have my second wind, and no…..I didn’t take a nap.. ☺

The boys got to school a bit later than usual but in plenty of time.  From there, I had to get Gavin to the lab for his bloodwork.  That took about 30 minutes but he did awesome.  I have to say that he’s come such a long way from where he used to reside.

He goes in for his bloodwork alone, while I wait for him in the car.  No one has to hold him down and he doesn’t even complain about having to do it.. ☺

I couldn’t be any prouder of this kid…

After his bloodwork, it was time for physical therapy.  Once again, he did really well and made an additional 6 appointments, all on his own.  I taught him how to put them in the calendar on his tablet, so he can sorta manage his own schedule.  It’s more like become more aware of his own schedule.  Baby steps.

We spent some time afterwards at my parents house because I needed to fix my Dad’s laptop.

Now I’m sorting through all my new Amazon review items, writing this post and getting ready to head to the school in a little bit for conferences… ☺

So far so good……
