Check out our after school adventure

The weather was beautiful today.  The sun was out and the temperature was in the high 50’s, which is still chilly but the sun makes it feel warmer.

I took a nap in the morning because of the lack of sleep the night before.  After that I got some work done and did some partnership building.  I even squeezed in some desperately needed server maintenance.

Gavin and I decided it would be a great day for a walk, assuming we could get his brothers to cooperate.

We picked up the boys and while they didn’t want to walk the track, they did want to go on a hike.  That’s exactly what we did.  We went on a 36-minute long hike through the woods at Monument Park.  We took some paths that we had never taken before and we spent some time looking for unique rocks and even fossils.

The boys did great and it was actually a lot of fun and great workout. I picked the 10 best pictures and shared them above.  Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the hike….
