This is a really simple question, with a very complicated spectrum of possible answers.  There’s no right or wrong here but it’s important to be honest.

How many of us have had a doctor, therapist or maybe even a teacher, tell us that our child with Autism will never be able to do something? I would bet that many of us have heard this at one time or another.

The most common is probably in regards speech or living alone.

When my youngest was first diagnosed, we were told that he would likely never speak and he didn’t for a large part of his life. We chose not to give up on him and he’s been speaking light years above his age group for a few years now.

So my question is:

Do you accept what doctors say your child with #Autism will never do?
