I spoke with the HVAC company who installed our A/C unit. We are scheduled for Thursday, but the cost is up in the air. My understanding is that all parts are covered for the first ten years, under manufacturers warranty.

This makes a big difference because the quote I was given was not taking that into consideration.

They are going to pull our file, and call the manufacturer to see what all is covered in the first ten years. I should be hearing back from them later today. If it’s covered under warranty, than all I have to go is cover labor. Labor is expensive enough at this point, but any little bit of savings is a good thing.

Fingers crossed…
