Here’s some pictures from today

It's been a really long day. I was up with a sick Emmett last night and now I'm up with a sick Elliott tonight.  I promise I'll get some writing done soon but until then, I thought I would at least share some pictures from our day. These pictures span across most of the day and aside from Elliott being sick, everything was positive.  I'll work on getting caught up after I get some sleep.

The crew from @vivintgivesback flew out to spend the day with the @the_autism_dad family and it was awesome

Today was amazing.  For those tardy to the party, the crew from Vivint Gives Back, flew all the way from Utah to spend the day with my family. There was a great deal of stress and anxiety leading up to this, simply because trying to get the house presentable can present many challenges.  I don't need to explain that to many of you because you face many of the same daily challenges we do. The team from Vivint arrived on time and our day was soon underway. To put things simply, they were here to film a documentary or sorts, featuring both myself and my family.  This was done for a few reasons, but the biggest and most important were to raise awareness for Autism, as well as for the…

Vivint Gives Back and The Autism Dad: Working together to help protect special needs families

Vivint Gives Back and The Autism Dad helps protect special needs families I've been so excited to share this with my readers and the Autism community at large. The time has finally arrived to break my silence and explain about this project I've been working on for the past few weeks. Before we get started, please read the following disclaimer: Rob Gorski and The Autism Dad blog are an official Brand Ambassador for Vivint Gives Back. I was provided with equipment for review purposes and so that I can answer any questions anyone may have about how the products function. I DO NOT receive the monthly service for free. I pay what my financial situation qualifies me for, just like anyone else who seeks to take advantage of this program.…

Thank You Snappers for the amazing samples (Review) @SnappersSnack

Let me begin by staying THANK YOU to Snappers for all the samples I received last week.  I get samples from companies all the time but OMG, these were amazing. If you noticed I used the word were and that's because they lasted just long enough to take pictures of them and they were devoured by my family. I don't even have the words to describe how these chocolatey temptations taste.  Let me rephrase that.  There aren't words to do these amazing snacks justice. I will admit to eating way, way more than I should have but I dare you to try these and stop after just one bag, let alone one piece. Even my 3 kids with Autism, 2 of which are the pickiest eaters I know (for reason outside…

(Review) Aftershokz Bluez 2S Wireless Bluetooth Bone Conduction Headphones

(Review) Aftershokz Bluez 2S Wireless Bluetooth Bone Conduction Headphones When I was approached by Aftershokz to review their Bluez 2S Wireless Bluetooth Bone Conduction Headphones I was really excited because music is such a huge part of my life and I'm always looking for new ways with which to enjoy it. I was a bit skeptical at first because I've experienced bone conducting products before and they left much to be desired. The headphones arrived and we're easily paired with my Note 5. I put them on and immediately began streaming my playlist from Google Play Music. I will say that there is an initial feeling of wearing them wrong because they don't actually go into or over your ears. I sorta felt awkward because I kept thinking they had slipped…
