It’s just that kind of day

1 Comment on It’s just that kind of day

It’s been sort of a blah day today. No one’s in a particularly good mood and everyone seems to be dragging. I’ve only even seen Gavin once because he’s been sleeping all day and that’s really unusual.

While there’s nothing on the schedule for today, there are still things that need done.

I’ve got to get the yard under control. It’s only been a week since I cut the grass but it’s already out of control because it’s been raining so much. I also need to buy a new weed eater because ours is no longer works and can’t be fixed.

I had to choose between buy g a new weed eater or getting the boys shoes. If you read yesterday’s post, you’ll know I didn’t choose the weed eater.

I’m not sure Lizze is feeling any better today and I don’t see us actually doing much as a result.

As for myself, I’m in a weird place but I’ll talk about that in the next post. I need some time to sort my thoughts and find my words..

Our grass is growing fast. Actually, since we are on the edge of town near farm fields, we have quite a lot of non-grass in our yard. Cutting it down makes it look all right though. Seriously, I cut the lawn Tuesday and I could’ve cut it again yesterday. I’m planning to go out later today after the heat and sun die down some, and cut it again. Since we have a huge yard I use a riding mower. I’m hoping to get Henry outside today or tomorrow to use a weed wacker.
